(Hood) 11 : 62

They said: “Oh Swalih! You were a man of hope for us before this; do you forbid us from serving what our fathers served? And indeed, we are in a never-ending doubt about the One Whom you are inviting us into”.

Just like all the Messengers, Messenger Swalih called his people to the Lord through Adhikr—the Straightpath. However, 999 out of 1000 people in his community rejected him and the Lord’s Message. They continued living a misguided life, following their forefathers, as explained in verses 2:170-171. They ridiculed Swalih, as described in verses 54:24-26, saying, “Is Adhikr revealed upon him among us? Nay, he is an odd liar.”

Today, those who read the Arabic Quran but hide and reject Adhikr are learning, teaching, and promoting books written by pseudo-prophets and hypocrites. These worst creatures, described in verse 8:22, regard others within the Messenger’s community as Kafirs. These Satan-serving Mujirims are welcoming the 30th pseudo-prophet, the Antichrist. Consequently, with the second coming of Jesus, these worthless beings will be defeated, and the commands in verses 4:91; 5:33; 9:5, 123; and 33:60-61 will be executed.

Verse 14:9 also ends with: “And indeed, we are in a never-ending doubt about the One Whom you all Messengers are inviting us to.” See explanation  3:7-10; 5:104-105; and 9:125.
